Supervisor Packaging
function description
You are the day-to-day point of contact on the production floor, making sure the team knows what needs to be done. You keep a close eye on both the employees and the production process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
You lead and coach a team of approximately 15 employees within the manual packaging department.
You organise the daily activities and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
During production, you monitor quality, food safety and hygiene.
You keep track of production planning and staffing levels and make adjustments when necessary.
You identify operational bottlenecks and look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
You motivate employees, provide feedback and address issues when necessary.
You contribute to strong teamwork and a positive working atmosphere.
You support new colleagues during their onboarding and training.
You work closely with other departments and report on daily operations.
When the situation requires it, you are happy to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team on the production floor.

You keep a cool head when plans change and understand what your team needs to keep moving forward. You are visible and approachable on the production floor, provide clear direction and make adjustments where necessary. Sound like you? Then this could be your dream job!
You have experience in the food industry, preferably within a production or packaging environment.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leading role is a strong advantage.
You know how to motivate and coach employees and provide clear, constructive feedback.
You communicate clearly, respectfully and assertively.
When organising the work, you take both quality and efficiency into account.
You are able to set priorities and organise daily activities effectively.
You take responsibility and show initiative.
Changing circumstances sometimes require quick adjustments, and you are able to respond accordingly.
You enjoy being present on the production floor and are willing to work alongside the team when needed.
You work daytime hours, but are flexible when necessary.
You have a good language of Dutch and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
