function description

As a mechanic, you ensure that the machines are ready for the next production run. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out product changes on the weaving machines.

  • Carrying out heald changes and correctly adjusting the machines.

  • Checking that the machines are ready for production following a changeover.

  • Providing technical support to operators.

  • Reporting faults and helping to find a suitable solution.

  • Ensuring an orderly and safe working environment.

  • Coordinating with colleagues to ensure production runs smoothly.

your profile

For this role, a technical and practical mindset is particularly important.

  • A technical qualification or relevant technical experience provides a good foundation.

  • An affinity for machinery, technology and tools.

  • Ability to understand and apply technical instructions and safety regulations.

  • Sufficient knowledge of Dutch for instructions and work meetings.

  • Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues.

  • Ability to work accurately and ensure a safe and organised workplace.
